New Yankee Stadium Will Make It Easier to Ignore the Game

yankeeslogo.jpgPeter Abraham of the LoHud Yankees Blog took in today's Hal Steinbrenner press conference where, after some mumbling about Andy Pettite and free agency, the underboss turned the show over to agents of Cisco, which is outfitting the new stadium with "1,100 flat screen, HD monitors," which in addition to showing scores and stats can be used to transmit traffic and weather information, and wireless service, so the few remaining fans who can afford to attend Yankees games can fiddle with their laptops and smartphones instead of watching the game, which should vastly improve the experience.
