Times is attributing a
wave of upcoming Broadway closings --
Young Frankenstein, Hairspray, Boeing-Boeing, and
Grease, among many others -- to the rotten economy, and the producers of
Gypsy are also saying as much, citing "uncertain financial times" as the spur to their planned March 1 shutdown.
