Mayor Bloomberg's reaction to the recent Brancato and Ellis trials, in which men accused of involvement in the murder of cops were acquitted. The Mayor called it "a tough week for society" and asserted, after admitting "I shouldn't get involved in the details of any one case," that "it's inexplicable to me how the juries came to their conclusions."
