Concerns about the health of alarmingly thin pancreatic cancer survivor Steve Jobs have been so widespread and volatile that when
some guy on the internet floated a rumor in October that the Apple CEO was in the hospital, the company's stock dropped five points. Now Jobs has
admitted to the
Times that he suffers from a "hormone imbalance," which he characterizes as a "nutritional problem," but says he's still cancer-free. At the news, Apple stock, which has been on a bit of a roller-coaster,
jumped three percent. Maybe if it starts to dip again, he can pat his gut and tell reporters he just had a cheeseburger deluxe.
