Manhattan Rents Dropping to as Little as $4,000/mo.

The Real Deal's Michael Stoler tells us that "Manhattan renters are gaining the upper hand as market-rate rents drop." To prove it he shares some of the great deals he's found online: a 3BR at the Brittany for $4,670 per month, a 2BR on East 56th Street for $4,120, and finally a major steal: a 2BR at United Nations Plaza, previously $6,200, now going for the fire-sale rent of $4,000. Plus one month free! Does this publication have a separate edition for people who aren't making that much money, called perhaps the Raw Deal?
