Madoff's Wife Pulled Millions Just Before Bernie's Arrest

Just a day after swindler Bernie Madoff cut a deal with the Securities and Exchange Commission in which he once again agreed not to dispose of any assets, it's being reported that his wife Ruth took $15.5 million out of a Madoff account late last year -- $5.5 million in November, and $10 million of it on the day before Madoff's arrest on December 11. The funds were held by Massachusetts brokerage Cohmad Securities, which is co-owned by Madoff; the state is currently trying to pull its broker's license. "This just keeps getting better and better," says a Daily News commenter. "This would make a good movie."
