Rush Limbaugh to Leave New York

rlimbaugh.jpgYou folks deserve a little good news. Rush Limbaugh is mad about New York's new taxes on rich people and is looking to deprive us of his meaty presence. Even before Commissar Paterson's crackdown, Rush tells his mouth-breathless listeners, "if it weren't for hurricanes down here [in oxycontin haven Florida], I would never go up there. New York is the escape valve in case hurricanes are showing up in our area, because of the loss of electricity." He also records up here, but now says "I'm going to look for an alternative studio somewhere outside New York," he says, "perhaps Texas -- another no-income-tax state... I'll sell my apartment. I'll sell my condominium. I'm going to get out of there totally, 'cause this is just absurd."

Limbaugh adds, "New York is probably going to celebrate that I'm not going to come back... They hate me, so they're happy I'm not coming back. They're going to praise Paterson for driving me out, even though I am rarely there anyway." He also predicts that "there are going to be others that are going to get out of there, especially in this economy." So maybe he'll take Bill O'Reilly with him! Photo (cc) Silas216.
