We suspect a put-on, but it has coverage and a web community, so let's just go with it: here are profiles of a few among "only 40 people in the world" admitting to sexual devotion to objects, including in one case public landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower and the Golden Gate Bridge and an archery bow named Lance ("Everyone knew I was an archer and that I loved my bow, but they didn't realize I loved my bow [laughter]"). Objectum-Sexuality Internationale denounces the doc "for its exploitative and sensationalized take," but the tender, romantic music suggests to us that at least the filmmakers were making an effort at sensitivity.
