Choice Eats Packed, Delicious

We went to that Choice Eats tastings festival at the Armory and, as you can tell by the crap photo, there was very little elbow room, with attendance estimated at around twice last year's at the Puck. You will not be shocked to learn the food was terrific; we especially enjoyed the lamb sandwiches from Sheep Station, Peppa's Jerk Chicken, and generous helpings of Hennepin -- thanks, Radegast Hall and Biergarten. Feedbag, A Passion for Food, and Serious Eats seemed to enjoy it too, and we imagine the event's ringmasters Robert Sietsema and Sarah DiGregorio will have something to say about it, too, if modesty does not overcome them.
