Okay, what do you think? We are reminded of the old showbiz wisdom that if you're going to go along with the gag, really go along with it -- don't throw in little laughs to show that you're in on it; actually put your strung-out, fame-damaged, anorexic self on display -- it will be a healing experience for everyone. As it is, we fear the poor girl has experienced a false epiphany, and will tell herself it's alright, she's counting the pills before she washes them down with vodka, and that makes all the difference.
