Thus the New York Mets begin their season in Cincinnati. We can only afford to watch the mets.com avatars at the plate, but it's still comforting to know they're playing. And it's a little warmer here in the office than it is at Great American Ball Park. Johan Santana just got his first strike! Sports Illustrated is liveblogging.
