Report: Tedisco Concedes, Murphy Wins NY-20 House Seat

tediscomurphyright.jpgThe Albany Project reports that Jim Tedisco has finally conceded the NY-20 Congressional race. The chairman of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee just sent out his congrats to winner Scott Murphy. It's been looking that way for a day or two, with Murphy up 401 votes in the post-electoral count and Tedisco needing a huge advantage in the uncounted ballots to catch up.

Now it's Norm Coleman's turn.

Update: Here's Tedisco's statement: "Ultimately, it became clear that the numbers were not going our way and that the time had come to step aside and ensure that the next Congressman be seated as quickly as possible. In the interest of the citizens of the 20th Congressional district and our nation," blah blah.
