Further canvassing of the NY-20 voting machines has put
Republican Jim Tedisco up by 12 votes over Democrat Scott Murphy in the special Congressional election. Sean Hannity is spinning that
the race may be "already won." Tedisco is sufficiently confident of victory that he
announced he's abandoning his assembly minority leader post to prepare for his transition. Brian Kolb of Canandaigua is
likely to replace him. Surprisingly, the GOP has yet to call for the absentee ballots to be thrown out now that they don't need them, so the board of elections is waiting for April 13,
the deadline for overseas ballots, to make an announcement.
