"Ad That Shocked a Nation" Pretty Mild Actually

We're always interested to see the latest "they're so much more advanced than we are" advertising from Europe. This British anti-teen-pregnancy spot -- which the Daily Telegraph advertised as the "graphic teen sex ad that shocked a nation" -- is okay, but something's awry and we can't figure out what. Is it because we haven't seen enough cell camera student fight videos to relate? Or that such footage doesn't hold the same magical appeal for us as it does for Britons -- who, as the works of Charles Dickens show, secretly enjoy the pain of children? And as for the Dramatic Twist, we don't think it says "teen pregnancy is at least as traumatic to children as bullying" so much as it says, "Boo!" Or maybe we were just hoping for some actual teen sex.
