Craigslist Drops Prostitute Ads; Twitter Picks Up the Slack

mrsrobinson.jpg
A couple of deranged killers have spoiled it for everybody: Craigslist is dropping its Erotic Services category. The Illinois attorney general's office announced that Craigslist will create an adult category which its employees will monitor for prostitution or pornography, and reject ads outside their guidelines. Trench Reynolds got what appears to be a preview of the new order. It seems to allow for sexy talk, but not sexy pictures and certainly no hint of money for services.

Well, there's still our old friends at New York Escorts on Twitter, now linking more aggressively to Global Courtesans and puttin' you in touch with freelancers like Mrs. Robinson (pictured). Big win for Web 2.0!
