Craigslist Fights the Law Over Sex Ads, While YouTube Foot Fetishism Goes Unpunished

Craigslist continues its sex war with the world. Andrew Cuomo attacked today, arresting seven in a Craigslist prostitution ring, and declaring "Until Craigslist gets serious about putting real protections in place, it will continue to be an environment where criminal operations thrive with impunity." WCBS says that also the ring thrived online, it "initially began with ads in the Village Voice." See, we're still pioneers.

But today Craigslist struck back at John Law, filing suit against the South Carolina attorney general for threatening their service over all this sex business, which Craigslist portrays as "an unconstitutional prior restraint on free speech, and are clearly barred by federal law." The AG says this is "good news," as "it shows that Craigslist is taking the matter seriously for the first time."

With all this attention on Craigslist and the Village Voice, nobody's talking about the real online sex menace: YouTube! Here is a video our hard-working investigative team found on the sexed-up site, in which a London girl offers the foot fetishists of New York her feet to be "licked, sucked, sniffed and even trampled on." They're even enabling a ring of local foot worship party planners. What's it going to take, attorneys general? An outbreak of athlete's mouth? Get on it!
