Daily News: Richard Parsons Has Love Child with Philanthropist

After "a glamorous career in the New York City fashion world," says 32-year-old MacDella Cooper (pictured), she started the MacDella Cooper Foundation "with the mission of empowering Liberian youth, especially orphans and abandoned children." Their collections are modest in this regard, and GuideStar only has them for 2007; neither Charity Navigator nor the Association of Fundraising Professionals lists the organization. But Cooper has run a number of high-profile events and received a lot of press for it. One of her contributors has been former Time Warner chairman Richard Parsons, 61, and today the the Daily News reveals that he is the father of Cooper's child. "This is a private matter, and I prefer not to talk about it at this time," he tells the News. Parsons is married and has three children.
