The tabby caught in that Staten Island tree has been saved! "Jose," a "Samaritan/tree-service owner," has climbed the tree and rescued the kitty, announces the Staten Island Advance. The paper further reports that Dottie was "taken without permission last week by a neighborhood teenager interested in adopting her," in escape from which Dottie made her near-fatal ascent.
