Somebody Got Murdered: A Fatal Shooting in Parkchester
The city almost made it through the Memorial Day Weekend without a homicide, but alas, it was not to be. On Sunday at about 10:30 p.m., the police arrived on a shots fired call and found a male hispanic, 23, shot in the stomach at 1576 Taylor Ave in the Parkchester section of the Bronx. He was taken to Jacobi Medical Center where he died. As of this afternoon, the police had yet to release the victim's identity. There have been no arrests.
