LOCATION: 200 Newport St, Brownsville
TIME: About 9:45 pm on Sunday night
Police reported last night the knifing death of a 43-year-old black man named Michael Gaston, who had been stabbed once in the chest. They took into custody a 19-year-old named Derrick Edwards, who has been charged with manslaughter.
This morning, the Daily News reports that Gaston was Edwards' uncle, and that friends said the two had been riding bicycles together before an argument broke out.
