DATE: Sunday, June 28, 2009 at approximately 2:20 a.m.
LOCATION: 67 Montrose Ave, Brooklyn.

The police are saying Raul Rosa, 29, of Stagg Walk in Brooklyn was found shot in one leg at 67 Montrose Ave. He was declared dead at Woodhull Hospital.

The Daily News is reporting that Rosa was shot and left to die in the street after a fight which erupted in a nightclub.He had left the club, and had lost too much blood to be saved.

I was really shock to hear this news and sadden forsure. I met Ray, when I too moved to this area and we quickly became friends. He was a cool dude and his smile I will always remember. Although, he's gone - I will never forget him! He will always be in my heart/mind! (I will continue to pray for his kids/family in this time of sorrow.)
my dude was a good man, even betta father. met ray-ray when i first moved out here from ft. greene, and he always had smile on his face. i remember when his daughter was born, and how i used 2 clown him on how his baby girl looks so much like him...3 years later , he was clownin me and my baby boy on we are so much alike. thats just 1 of many memories i have of my dude. For one his name is raymond rosa not raul n he didn't get shot in da leg it was da stomach..n he was a good friend of mine..n its messed up how da papers makes him look y cause we hood kids dat grew up in da projects. He was a good friend son father n husband n didn't deserve to be killed over sumthing dat had nutin to do wit him...so to da papers get da story right b4 u open ur mouths n try to make pple look bad....peace
cops have video that shows incident that happened between shooter & victim in bar & then the shooting outside the bar....
it started in MiGente sports bar lounge & lead out into the street....there was a Rap showcase going on that night @ the bar...

Does anyone know what NightClub he was at prior to the shooting? I live in that neighborhood and am curious.
