Don't worry, New York City hotel guests -- the
hotel bombings in Jakarta drew an immediate response from the NYPD:
"critical response vehicles" have been dispatched to several hotels in Manhattan, including the Marriot and Ritz Carlton, whose Jakarta equivalents were the ones hit by suicide bombers in the early morning attacks. Ray Kelly says there's "no information" of planned attacks here, but better safe than sorry, and they're
waiting on further word from their officers stationed in Jakarta. The cops have also
added security to the Indonesian consulate on the Upper East Side.
