Aw C'mon: Texas Town Punishes Deputies for Waitress Gun Pic

We thought Texans were more accommodating about this sort of thing, but a Round Rock deputy has been fired and others reprimanded just for letting this girl pose with a piece of PD ordnance on the back of an official vehicle. The deps had "three to five beers" apiece at the Twin Peaks restaurant (!) and Deputy Daniel Subia surrendered his weapon to a waitress known only as "Bambi," who told investigators the officers asked her to pose for this picture. This led to a lengthy police report and the firing and reprimands. If a drunken cop can't use his assault rifle to impress waitresses in the heart of gun country, then we say let Bloomberg just confiscate the damn things and call us Russia.
