Rockettes Preview Christmas Show Today, Sans Heavy Clothing

Radio City Music Hall's Christmas Spectacular is a big draw, but the competition is fierce -- White Christmas is returning to Broadway this winter, despite its parlous original reviews -- so RCMH has taken steps, so to speak, to steal a March of the Wooden Soldiers on wannabes: they've launched its Christmas Spectacular website early, they performed on the Today Show this morning (in weather-appropriate clothing, as you see here), and they're holding a "Christmas in August" event out in front of the theater at 50th and Sixth Avenue this afternoon from 1:30 to 4:00. The Rockettes will do their thing, including "NYC's longest kick line with special guest New York Giants kicker, Lawrence Tynes." As a bonus they'll give out Christmas Spectacular tickets to the first 250 attendees. Twitpic via rockettes.
