Somebody Got Murdered: Livery Cab Driver Shot in The Bronx

DATE: Sunday, Aug. 23, 2009, at approximately 10:23 p.m.
LOCATION: In front of 455 Wales Ave., The Bronx.

The police are saying that a livery cab driver was shot to death during an apparent robbery outside 455 Wales Ave. in the Bronx Sunday night. The car was still moving when he was shot, the Daily News reported.

The driver, Jose Pena-Seguira, 42, of Webster Avenue was taken to Lincoln Hospital where he was declared dead at 11 p.m. Police arrested at 31-year-old man in connection with the shooting, and confiscated a .25-cal. revolver from him. The police have not released the suspect's identity.
