Have You Seen... Pharmacy Bandits

Last Tuesday two robbers stuck up the Family Pharmacy on West 137th Street, taking drugs and cash. Police think they're the same guys who hit seven other drugstores between January and May. In January they robbed the R.O.R. Pharmacy on Madison Avenue and the Joseph Pharmacy on West 72nd Street; in April they robbed the Just In Time Pharmacy on Knapp Street in Brooklyn and the Briarwood Pharmacy on 86th Avenue in Queens; in May they tried a CVS on Linden Boulevard in Queens and fled without taking anything, but were more successful at Franhill Drugs on Hillside Avenue and in a repeat visit to the Just In Time Pharmacy. They usually have their faces covered, but are described as black men in their 20's or 30's, about 5'11" and 165 pounds.

If you have information as to these men or these incidents, NYPD asks you to contact 1-800-577-TIPS(8477), www.nypdcrimestoppers.com, or text 274637 (CRIMES), then enter TIP577.
