Clifton Maloney, the husband of Rep Carolyn Maloney, died in his sleep after reaching the 27,000 foot summit of Cho Oyu mountain in east Nepal. Early reports from Rep. Maloney's office suggested that he was killed in a mountain climbing accident.

The American Embassy in Katmandu is working at figuring out how to bring Maloney back down.

Police say Anne Morell Petrillo left her ID and a suicide note in her car when she jumped off the Tappan Zee Bridge on Thursday. Sources tell the News that the note read "I love everyone, but this is what I want." Police divers and boats are still searching for her body.

Update: Police believe they've found Ms. Petrillo's body.
