LOCATION: 1695 Walton Avenue, The Bronx.

The police say 17-year-old Jamia Hazel, of Brooklyn, was stabbed to death, wrapped in garbage bags and dumped in an alleyway over the weekend. Police responded to the scene after someone discovered her remains.

Darrell Spencer, 23, of the above address was arrested on murder and weapons charges. The New York Daily News reported that a woman helped Spencer hide Hazel's body. She later implicated him to detectives in the murder.

The New York Post reported today that Hazel was a runaway foster child. The Post noted that her last myspace posting read: "I'm so sick of the same lames trying to get at me. I'm taking boyfriend applications. LOL. If you don't have a job, don't even bother."
