Weiner wrote to Baseball Commissioner Bud Selig and, cannily, ESPN, saying "there's no reason why the largest Jewish community in the country should be punished for a last-minute scheduling swap." The game was subsequently changed back. "[Selig] said he agreed," says Weiner, "and that he had heard from his own rabbi that this was a problem." What! There are Jews in the front office?
