2nd Suspect in Queens Bias Attack Apprehended in Virginia

hatecrime100909.jpgThe second suspect in last week's suspected gay-bash in Queens has been apprehended in Norfolk, Virginia. Daniel Rodriguez (pictured) was picked up by U.S. Marshals on a tip to the NYPD. Jack Price, 49, had his jaw and ribs broken in the attack last Thursday, during which Rodriguez and Daniel Aleman are alleged to have called him a faggot.

Price managed to stumble home and call 911. The Daily News has footage of him getting beaten, robbed, then beaten some more, and trying to make his way to his apartment.

Extradition and charges for Rodriguez are pending, but Aleman faces up to 15 years in prison on charges of aggravated assault and hate crime, which Rodriguez may be expected to share.
