M4M Massage Show Shut Down in Chelsea

manworks.jpg
In case you were wondering, you can't get a massage in a window in Chelsea, at least not by "hot masseurs." Our own Michael Musto learns such a display at The Blue Store in Chelsea, performed by the bodyworkers of Manworks ("Find Erotic, Therapeutic, Sensual & Tantra Body Massage Therapists"), got shut down by cops on Friday. Manworks director Daniel Lee thinks "prejudice" against the man-on-man massage, performed by buff workers in bathing suits, was a factor, and his company claims there was nothing "lewd" in the presentation. amNY says the store's manager, Miki Ohana, claims he "did not realize how erotically charged the display would be." No arrests were made nor tickets distributed.

The Blue Store got shut down in a prostitution sting in 2005, which may explain the attentiveness of John Law; that, or a deeper publicity scheme than we know.
