Police Raid (Printing Plant of) The New York Times!

Police raid New York Times! Our tired old eyes leapt at this poorly-scanned headline, but alas, it's just more union shenanigans, apparently: the Manhattan D.A. sent investigators into the paper's Queens printing plant as part of its look-see into the Newspaper and Mail Deliverers Union, which has previously been sued by the state for fraud and theft, and the former president of which was previously prosecuted by D.A. Morgenthau. Of course, that was back in the bad old brick-throwing days of conflict resolution, though there is still no love lost between Times management and the unions; the Times informs us the current beef involves "whether union leaders abused seniority rules to promote favored insiders."
