Troopers: Hanging Census Worker Was Suicide, Not Murdered

bsparkman.jpg
You may remember the death of census worker Bill Sparkman in September, in which he was found hanging with the word "FED" scrawled across his chest. As he worked in a rural section of Kentucky, where anti-government sentiment is assumed to be high, some suspected that he had been murdered for that reason. Now a Kentucky State Police investigation is complete and it has been determined that Sparkman committed suicide and staged it as a homicide in an attempt to collect insurance money for his family.

"When will the Left retract the Kentucky census worker case smear?" asks Michelle Malkin. She'll probably have to wait for the selection of a delegate to speak on the Left's behalf. For our part, we only questioned the theory that Sparkman was a child molester, which at this time has not borne fruit.
