10 Arrested at Gracie Mansion for AIDS Protest

Happy World AIDS Day. Mayor Bloomberg was hosting an Annual World AIDS Day Breakfast at Gracie Mansion when 10 activists from Housing Works conducted a sit-in outside, and chanted "People with AIDS under attack, what do we do? Act up, fight back!" and "Bloomberg, billionaire, people with AIDS, he don't care." AP says they tried to chain themselves to a gate. 10 protesters were arrested. Housing Works says the protest was done to "expose the hypocrisy" of the event, and demands the restoration of the Mayoral Office Of AIDS Policy, which Bloomberg discontinued when he took office.
