Another genius robber
This is turning into a trend. Like our own two robbers on Staten Island, the young man at left helpfully provided the police with a picture of himself taken with the cell phone he stole.
Philadelphia police say that a 20-year-old woman whose bag, containing her cell phone, was stolen in October had her phone programmed to send pictures from her camera to her home computer. Shortly after the robbery, it sent a picture of a man she identified to police as the robber.
Lt. Frank Vanore, who is clearly enjoying this, said that police "really appreciate [the suspect] taking a picture of himself." He hasn't been identified yet.
