A soldier stationed at Fort Drum, New York has been charged with stabbing two fellow servicemembers to death at an apartment complex near the Fort. The two men, Waide James (20) and Diego Valbuena (23), from Port St. Lucie and Port St. John in Florida, were found yesterday morning with multiple stab wounds at the Meadowbrook Apartments; 20-year-old Joshua Hunter of Watertown, New York was arrested at an Ohio motel early this morning and arraigned in court on two counts of second-degree murder. He's being held in a county jail and will be sent back to New York for trial.

The victims and the accused killer allegedly knew each other through MySpace. ("i am angry at the world and i will take it out on anyone," Hunter writes on his MySpace page; he also says his favorite book is Catcher in the Rye.) No motive is revealed, though we expect jihad has been ruled out.
