Happy Ending for Lost Roosevelt Island Woman, 70

foundlady.jpg
On Sunday, around 7:30 p.m. police picked up an elderly woman at the corner of Main Street and Roosevelt Avenue in Queens. She was fluent in an Asian dialect, but unable to identify herself or give her home address. She was found to have "diminished mental capabilities" and kept at Queens General Hospital while NYPD showed her picture around.

We see a lot of stories like this, and it's good to know when one turns out well: her family recognized this photo and came to get her last night. She's Soo-Won Park from Roosevelt Island, and how she got over the bridge to Queens is unknown.
