Macy*s evacuated for escalator fire
As if the snowstorm didn't do enough to slow down holiday shopping, the AP is reporting that Macy*s Herald Square flagship store was evacuated an hour ago because of heavy smoke from an escalator fire between the 3rd and 4th floors. 
The Fire Department says there were no injuries.
