This has been something of a theme around here lately, with Detective Kevin Spellman's DWI case in October, Officer Andrew Kelly's in September, and Sergeant Joseph Spiekerman hitting an old guy with his car after six hours in a bar in June,

Update: Apparently he hit the gate arm at a Midtown Tunnel toll plaza. He was "allegedly driving home from a holiday party," says the Post.
