Joe Arpaio -- the sadistic sheriff of Maricopa County, Arizona who has instituted a female chain gang
, cut prisoners to two meals a day
, and is contemplating a run for Governor
-- was invited for some reason to respond to questions by professors at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication in Tempe, Arizona last night. After 45 minutes of Q&A, he was confronted by "a group of protestors singing to the tune of Queen's 'Bohemian Rhapsody
,'" per East Valley Living
, whereupon the sheriff and the professors evacuated the stage.
Arpaio was recently in the news for defending a detention officer who, caught on tape snatching documents from a defense attorney, refused a judge's order to apologize.
