Somebody Got Murdered: Brooklyn Man Killed in His Apartment; Cops Looking for Ties to Murder of NBA star's Ex-Girlfriend

A 35-year old Brooklyn man was shot and killed inside his apartment at the above address Monday evening. The police say Montel McDonald had been shot in the chest. He was declared dead at the scene.
The Daily News reported today that the McDonald's killing took place not far from the murder of NBA star World B. Free's former girlfriend. Investigators, the News says, were looking into whether the two incidents are related.
