Giuliani Criticizes Obama for Allowing Crotch-Bomber "Domestic Attack" When Bush Had None (um, 9/11?)

Categories: 9/11, Featured

Rudolph Giuliani went on Good Morning America and announced that "we had no domestic attacks under Bush. We've had one under Obama," seeming to forget the World Trade Center attacks that made him America's Mayor in 2001.

Interviewer George Stephanopoulos did not correct him at the time. Cue Darryl Worley.

A Giuliani spokesperson said that the former Mayor was "clearly talking post-9/11," which seems to leave out the shoe-bomber Richard Reid.

Giuliani was not impressed that interrogators claim to have gotten good infrormation out of crotch-bomber Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab in little more than a day. "It takes a lot longer than 30 hours to debrief a terrorist with the kind of knowledge that he appears to have," said Giuliani, "why would you stop it?" Giuliani would prefer that Abdulmutallab be remanded to the military, where he could be interrogated as long as they please and by any means necessary.

Giuliani had some praise for the President, being pleased that Obama "first used the words, thank God, 'War on Terror,'" in recent days. But if he were really serious, said Giuliani, he'd keep Guantanamo Bay open.

Abdulmutallab has pleaded not guilty to the six-point indictment delivered on him this week.
