Plane from LaGuardia Diverted Because of Kid Wearing Scary Tefillin

tefil.jpg
A U.S. Airways flight that left LaGuardia for Kentucky this morning was diverted to Philadelphia, as a passenger was thought to have attached a weapon to his body ("strapped a wire device from his fingers to his head after takeoff," said Reuters). Fox, America's Terror Network, grimly referred to his alleged weapon as a "religious device." Now we learn it's a frickin' tefillin, the little box 'n' ribbons thing orthodox Jews like to stick on their heads and wrap around their arm when they pray, and it was being worn by a 17-year-old kid who is described as "cooperating" with officials.

Well, Al Qaeda operatives are thinking right now, guess we're gonna have to re-think that rosary bomb idea.
