David Allen Coe to Come to Williamsburg, Kick Hipster Ass

dacoe.jpg
Legendary outlaw singer-songwriter David Allen Coe will perform at the Music Hall of Williamsburg in June 11th. After a spell in biker gangs and prison -- mentioned in many of his songs, including "Longhaired Redneck" -- Coe commenced a prolific career, penning songs that became hits ("Take This Job and Shove It"), underground hits ("Willie, Waylon, and Me") and just plain outrages ("Nigger Fucker"). Now 71, Coe rarely appears in this vicinity, so expect a lively event. Just don't get on his wrong side.
