First-Ever Wedding On Top of the Empire State Building

There have been weddings at the Empire State Building before -- Brides magazine used to partner with ESB to marry several couples a year on the Building's 61st floor, then pose them at the top-floor Observatory for photos. But this year, in association with TheKnot.com, the ESB allowed Marine Corp. Captain Greg Adams and Kristy Magers of Oceanside, California, to get married right up there on the Observatory level -- the first time, their publicists tell us, this has ever been done.

Captain Adams and Magers were the grand prize winners in TheKnot's competition for the honor; 13 other winning couples will exchange or renew their vows on the lower level tomorrow. All the winners also get a bunch of wedding gear and swag, but the Captain and his bride get the coolest wedding pictures. Bigger photos after the jump.
