Staten Islander Busted With Loaded Gun Near Kid's Crib

As a change of pace from our earlier story about a kid with a toy gun, here's one about an adult who allegedly kept a real, loaded gun around his kids. Cops busted in with a warrant on Milton Stilley, whom they say is a member of the Bloods, and found a loaded .380 within two feet of his 20-year-month-old toddler's crib. (At the time of the bust, per the Advance, "Stilley's 7-month-old son was in the room, in his mother's arms.") He's up on criminal weapons possession and endangering the welfare of a child, among other charges. "I got nothing to fucking say. Process me," cops say Stilley told them.

This is kind of a thing in Staten Island: Last year police raided the home of Anthony Cortese and found, among a small arsenal of weapons, a gun in his 11-year-old's bedroom closet. He, too, was charged with criminal weapons possession and endangering the welfare of a child.
