Things to do this weekend for (mostly) free
Flushing and Manhattan's Chinatown welcome the year of the tiger with Lunar New Year parades this weekend. The Flushing parade runs from 11 to 1 today on Main Street (the last stop of the 7). Flushing Town Hall is throwing a free asian dance concert immediately afterwards. The Manhattan parade starts Sunday at 11:30 (organizers recommend Allen Street between Canal and Grand as the best viewing spot).
