Best $2K He's Ever Spent: Did RNC Chairman Michael Steele Have a Sexxxy S&M Night on the Town?
Republican National Committee chairman Michael Steele has always tried to be "down" with the cool kids. Little did we know how much he enjoys getting "down" with some "strange," nahmean?
Apparently, conservative bowtied dweeb Tucker Carlson has finally done something interesting with his new website, The Daily Caller. Like pointing out the various expenditures of the RNC Chairman, one of which was $2,000 spent at:
...A bondage-themed nightclub featuring topless women dancers imitating lesbian sex.
Hot. Of course, the RNC's denying that Steele spent the money, noting that it was a "a reimbursement made to a noncommittee staffer." But in doing so, of course, they're admitting to reimbursing someone for $2,000 spent at an S&M-themed nightclub. They noted:
"The Chairman was never at the location in question, he had no knowledge of the expenditure, nor does he find the use of committee funds at such a location at all acceptable.
And it's true: The report The Daily Caller cited did not name the person to whom the reimbursement was made, or who the expense was made by originally. Whatever the case, the RNC -- overseen by Michael Steele, who finds using committee funds at S&M clubs not "at all acceptable" -- has reimbursed someone for a night out on the town, and they're now investigating. Can't wait to hear who they turn up, though Steele -- in all his cool, hepcat ways -- is kind of an obvious suspect, no? Especially after taking note of the other expenditures listed in the report, like deciding whether or not to buy a plane, and hot trips to Sin City.
RNC trips to other cities produced bills from a long list of chic and costly hotels such as the Venetian and the M Resort in Las Vegas, and the W (for a total of $19,443) in Washington. A midwinter trip to Hawaii cost the RNC $43,828, not including airfare.
