Casting Director Seeks Staten Island Millionaires; We Say, Go With Grannies
Are you or do you happen to know a Staten Island millionaire? If so, you may want to get in touch with Vinnie Potestivo, 32, who's currently casting the fourth season of Bravo's Millionaire Matchmaker, reports SILive. (We admit a certain sick pleasure related to that programming. "We" meaning Jen, not Foster, unless he has something to share.)
"Vinnie P" ("YoitsVinnie" on Twitter and MySpace) hails from the South Shore and knows there are millionaires in the midst:
"I've seen the houses. I know how big those fountains can be. My dad's got one with dogs in it. It's ridiculous."
Not a Staten Island millionaire looking for love? Potestivo is also looking for first-time moms to be filmed as they experience pregnancy.
We do have to say we think it's high time Staten Islanders got some reality TV love. But instead of millionaires, baby mamas, or bridezillas, what about a series of no-nonsense, crime-fighting, life-saving Staten Island grandmas? Vinnie could start with 82-year-old Ann Kalil, who refused to leave her building as an inferno ravaged a neighbor's apartment and instead stuck around to save lives.
Bad-Ass Grandma? We would totally watch that.
