Daring Criminal Escape Employs "Wolf in Sheep's Clothing" Meme

The key to avoiding capture is camouflage.
Two Argentinian criminals have escaped from a maximum security prison and are, according to Argentinian officials, evading capture by frolicking in local fields at night wearing "full sheepskin fleeces with realistic looking heads," reports the Telegraph.

Maximiliano Pereyra, 25, and Ariel Diaz, 28, who were jailed for robbery offenses, brought their innovative plan (influenced, we imagine, by bedtime readings of Aesop's Fables) to fruition more than a week ago and have yet to be caught -- despite the deep mortification of the police on their (wait for it!) tails.

It is alleged that the two men stole the sheep hides from a nearby ranch. It is also alleged that this is awesome.

Police sources said it appeared that identifying the pair among thousands of other sheep was "almost impossible."

But: "They can't pull the wool over our eyes forever," one officer deadpanned.

And you thought The Shawshank Redemption was good.
